Episode 11 – Sam Mandegaran pt. 1

Sam Mandegaran is an electrical engineer who studied at Cal Tech and Princeton. He is also a filmmaker, and an enjoyer of beer. We sit down over some Citra Pale Ale from El Segundo Brewing and chat about science, electrical engineering, art, intelligence, and lots more. The song at the end is courtesy of Casual Strangers once again.

Episode 10 – Wes Campbell pt. 2

Harvard physicist Wes Campbell is back this week to discuss more about his research with atoms, his research project through UCLA, and many more quantum things. We sit down with some Pechish, a sour beer from Cisco Brewers, and get to the bottom of it all. A quick chat with my old pal Vern kicks it off, and music from Casual Strangers sends us out. They are based out of Austin, Texas, and the song is entitled Holocene Dream.

Episode 9 – Wes Campbell pt. 1

Wes Campbell, who has a PhD in Physics from Harvard, drops by the cave this week to share some sour beer from Black Market Brewing and chat about his research with the Campbell group through UCLA. We talk about atoms, quantum computers, the need for science, how it is disseminated, and more. We also learn about this, which Wes wanted to be shared -- and rightly so. A call to Alfonso Callejas kicks things off.

The end music is by Seres, and it is called Paralelos. You can find more here.

Out on the Road

The Canceled Tour is rounding the bend and nearly headed down the home stretch. If you haven't made it out to a show yet, come say hello before it's over. Atlanta, New Orleans, Houston, Austin, Dallas, and Phoenix still ahead on the road home. Hopefully you've been enjoying the episodes. It's been nice chatting with people who are listening. If you have any requests for images or links mentioned on the show, feel to comment here, and I will post them. Here's the link for Heath from Reddit's new website that I mentioned this week. It's Upvoted.com, and it's pretty cool. See what you think.
