Heather Wright and Katie Sanders, PhD students at UC Irvine studying Cancer Biology, are back this week to talk about Stem Cells. Actually, David visits them remotely on a trip through Orange County. They share some Beaver’s Milk from Belching Beaver Brewing and talk about the ethical implications of stem cells, their uses, and what is holding their availability back. You’ll also meet Ronald and Lupe who are Heather’s pet reptiles. A call to Chris Mancini, who has a kickstarter for a graphic novel called Long Ago and Far Away, kicks things off.
